It began slowly at first, but over the past several years a seemingly “normal” man (who happened to work for a company called Jamba Juice) began an amazing and unexpected transformation. He out of the blue became known as “The Crazy Ole Man”. You see, all of his employees were college students and considerably younger than him – OK a lot younger than him – to say the least!
It was his belief that you could create a work environment that was challenging and inspired personal growth, but could also be fun and joyful as well. Sometimes he would dance to the piped in music or make jokes with the customers, but he also expected the best from his employees and they always gave him their best. Soon they began calling him “The Crazy Ole Man” and before long his customers were using this fond nickname as well. His employees replaced his old nametag and gave him a new one with – you guessed it – “The Crazy Ole Man” printed on it. His life is filled with love and joy and a strong belief in how to grow a business based on the strong foundation of his employees.
